Important update
    Changes to future finance agreements

Due to some business changes, a number of customers won’t be able to take out finance agreements with Close Brothers to cover the cost of their insurance policies in the future. This change will not happen immediately, and we will be working with brokers over the next 6-12 months to organise a smooth transition. This does NOT impact any current finance agreements OR existing insurance policies.

Why are you still collecting money when my insurance policy has been cancelled?

Although your policy may have been cancelled, you may still have an outstanding balance with us. Close Brothers Premium Finance pays the full cost of the insurance premium to your broker, however any refund amount due from your insurer may not cover the outstanding balance of your credit agreement.

If you do still have an outstanding balance, you will need to pay this in line with your original credit agreement with us – meaning we will continue to collect a monthly Direct Debit for the remaining balance. We will also notify you in writing how much the remaining payments will be.

If you have any unanswered questions about your policy or payments, please first contact your broker to discuss exactly what has happened (and what they have instructed us to do). You will be able to find your insurance broker’s contact information on your insurance policy and any communications sent by them.
